The challenge lay in the contradiction: an undisclosed Nordic hospitality group required a chair with an impossibly slim, tapered silhouette that could survive the relentless friction of a high-traffic urban bistro.
Retasta delivered by re-engineering the internal anatomy of the design. We utilized a reinforced interlocking tenon joint—exposed as a mark of honesty—and vacuum-pressed European Oak for maximum density. By translating delicate sketches into a stress-tested reality, we provided over 200 units that harmonize aesthetic grace with industrial-grade resilience, ensuring every curve serves the busy diner and the brand’s enduring legacy.
